- Autoset AlgorithmThe Autoset algorithm is an exclusive ResMed feature that can distinguish between different types of breathing disturbances and then adjust the delivered pressure based on the underlying cause. The Autoset algorithm can differentiate Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA), Central Sleep Apnea (CSA), Cheyne-Stokes Respirations (CSR), and Respiratory Effort Related Arousals (RERA). When OSA occurs, the Autoset algorithm responds by delivering air pressure, whereas when CSA occurs, the device stops delivering pressure. This makes therapy more effective and precisely targeted.
